Dao San Huang San
Dao Holistic San Huang San is composed of four herbs in equal proportions and is ground into a powder. San Huang San effectively alleviates pain and inflammation by increasing local circulation and cooling. San Huang San is also known as “Herbal Ice” as it is often used on injuries which are hot and inflamed. San Huang contains a natural substance called Berberine which provides the herbs with its natural substantial heat clearing properties
San Huang San is a highly effective treatment for sprains, muscle spasms and soreness, and bruising.
Herbs used in Dao San Huang San
Hong Hua (Safflower), Huang Qin (Baical Skullcap Root), Huang Bai (Phellodendron or Amur Cork tree Bark), Da Huang (Rhubarb Root and Rhizome)
How to use:
Add hot water to 10g of the San Huang San and make into a paste. Place on a bandage gauze with and then apply to the injury. Keep the bandage loose enough to allow good circulation but tight enough to ensure the poultice is snug against the skin. Alternatively add a clear gel to the bandage gauze and the then the 10g of San Huang San on top of the gel. San Huang San Safety & Usage
San Huang San should only be applied externally. In the unlikely event that skin irritation occurs stop using immediately. Never apply San Huang San to an open wound or breaks in the skin.
San Huang San contains blood cooling and moving herbs and should not be used during pregnancy or if taking blood thinning medication.
