David Bailey - DAO Holistic

David Bailey British Acupuncture Council Member

David Bailey is an experienced practitioner of acupuncture being qualified in acupuncture since 2005. He is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (957907) the leading governing body for acupuncture that ensures all practitioners meet high standards. Dao Holistic Therapy in Stalybridge formerly Acu2you is a licenced premise with Tameside Council for the practice of acupuncture and adheres to high standards of cleanliness and patient safety. David Bailey is also a licenced acupuncture practitioner with Tameside Council.

David completed 4 years training in acupuncture at the prestigious Northern College of Acupuncture 8 years ago gaining a Post Graduate Diploma and has continually practised acupuncture since. He continued his studies in Chinese Medicine by completing a 3-year programme of study in Chinese Herbal Medicine at Shulan College of Chinese Medicine in Manchester. In recent years he has continued his studies by training in spinal manipulation with Osteon at the London School of Osteopathy. He has a major interest in Muscle Energy Techniques and Trigger Point Therapy particularly useful for the treatment of sport injuries, pain, and postural imbalances
He completes regular CPD as required by the British Acupuncture Council.

David is also a qualified Scientist and Lecturer and has a 1st Class Honours Degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Durham University.
